The Dead Beats
A sad commentary on present-day values is that there is little trust in people anymore. This is too bad. Being old fashioned, I trust people. The overwhelming majority of people that have ordered Mountains of Stone bear out my faith in people...the people on the dead beat list have accumulated over the last seven years.
We all misplace, or forget, things. No one is added to the Dead Beat list until they have ignored emails, and one letter.
The people on the "Dead Beats List" are not poor...just true worthless Dead Beats.
Someone with any integrity at all should be embarrassing with their name on a "Dead Beat List" that can be seen by colleagues, friends, students, clients, neighbors, and people from around the world.
As an example, copy and paste this into Google:

When a name is added to the Dead Beat List there is a late fee of $10.00. The Picture CD is free with purchase of the book, but if the book is not paid for, there is an additional charge of $15.00 for the CD. This makes a total charge of $45.00 dollars before a name is removed from the list.
With over five million hits a month during the school year, I must admit to a real chuckle when one of these dead beats names come up on a Google search. What bothers me the most is not the fact that these people are basically dishonest, but percentage wise how many of them are involved with the youth.
